OUR GOALS

To provide a place to go with a family atmosphere, to meet, socialise, and enjoy sporting and other activities, as well as building pride and ownership of the club through encouraging and supporting members, players and volunteers.
To promote an ethos of fair play and teamwork with emphasis on member, volunteer, player enjoyment and retention, whilst broadening life skills and working towards ultimate success.

Board Members:

  • Support MGIAC Vision, Mission, Goals, and Values, and regularly review and manage the Strategic Management Plan and the Business Management Plan;
  • Observe all rules of the MGIAC including those set out in the Constitution, the Limestone Coast Football Association (LCFA) or Football South Australia (as required);
  • Follow any implemented policies, procedures and/or operational practices as set down in relevant MGIAC documents;
  • Attend monthly board meetings whenever possible, and if unable to attend, send an apology and not be absent for more than three (3) consecutive meetings without approval from the Club President;
  • Not act on matters without the consent of the Club President including not interfering in the day‑to‑day running of the MGIAC;
  • Represent MGIAC in a positive and pro-active manner at all times, respecting the rights and dignity of individuals involved with the club, regardless of their role, position, ability, skills, gender, race, colour, religion, language, politics or origin;
  • Actively participate and support MGIAC processes relating to provision of a Child-Safe Environment, thereby ensuring that children and young people involved in club activities, are as safe as they can be;
  • Not abuse or assault, physically or verbally, or incite hatred or violence, to anyone involved with MGIAC and, always exhibit and model respectful and positive behaviour;
  • Follow any grievance procedures set down by MGIAC in order to resolve any conflicts (regardless of their cause) should they arise; and
  • Not discuss private or confidential matters at any time with persons either inside or outside the club, or with members or volunteers of the club, without the express consent of the Club President.
